The 14 day refund
You get a full refund within 14 days of buying a license or of a yearly renewal, for any reason. You don’t have to explain why, and the refund covers the whole payment, tax included.
This is my own promise, on top of your rights under the law. By law you can usually withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days, but for a license key delivered at once, that right ends when you agree to the delivery at Creem’s checkout. My promise gives you the 14 days anyway.
How to ask
Write to me within the 14 days, with the order number from Creem’s receipt:
If you can’t find the order number, the email address you gave at checkout is enough for me to find the order in Creem.
What happens next
- I find the order and ask Creem to refund it.
- Creem, the seller on your invoice, pays the money back the way you paid. How soon it shows on your statement depends on your bank or card.
- Once the payment is refunded, the license key stops working on every computer. The app then works as it does after the free trial: it keeps recording new files, and shows which program created them again once you enter a new license key.
Cancelling a yearly plan
Cancelling isn’t a refund. If you cancel a yearly plan in Creem’s customer portal, it won’t renew, and your license stays active to the end of the year you paid for. To get money back for the current year, ask for a refund within 14 days of the payment.
After 14 days
After 14 days a payment isn’t refunded, but your rights under the law stay. If the app doesn’t work as described, write to me as the terms describe, and I’ll answer within 14 days.
Chargebacks
Please write to me before you dispute a payment with your bank. A refund is faster, and a chargeback ends the license key just as a refund does.
